Watched a pc stream from 2023 and bought it on ps5 but it does not look the same at all

The game from 2023 looks much better than the ps5 version i am playing. More detail and the first boss fight is quite different. Water in the arena and particle effects that i dont have.
Is the ps5 version different or is the game downgraded since 2023?

Indeed the game looks nothing like the promotional trailers anymore. Corpses and blood disappear nearly instantly and the lighting has changed as well. From what I gathered from changelogs and forum posts a lot of stuff got reworked / removed for no reason. Real shame. I'd like to play the OG version of this gem.

Ok thanks for the info. Its a pitty alright. Must be due to console release?
Anyway i am gonna try and get a refund since its false advertising imo
