Skipable energy gate near Yaroslav to reached the Anomaly intented?

I guess it shouldn't work that way but, the energy gate near Yaroslav which blocks the way to the Anomaly can be skipped.
I'm not sure if that's the gate which disappeears if both eyes where recalibrated or not (it's my first playthrough and i didn't recalibrate any of these yet) but that's how to bypass it:
if you go back outside and move to the right, skip the big guy /guess you already killed the red one) and climb up the rocks (sometimes a little bit tricky), it's possible to bypass the church with the guys within and get behind it to enter the path leading to the anomaly.
There i activated the first homunculis and went back, then i could see the energy gate and as i got near it, a cutscene started where Yaroslav talked to me, but the gate is still there and i still can't enter it (but i can teleport via humunculus, for sure).
So, i guess im gonna restore an older save and try to open the gate first, even if i could proceed now but i don't like the feeling to have skipped something that way, i was just curious...
Is this known to anyone? Did or will i break anything if i would proceed (i won't, as said, just curious...)

Yeah I climbed around too and went to the next bonfire, it's just activating the 2 anomaly that open it, you can go back and activate them if you want

I just restored an older save and did it "the right way"...gave me a better feeling. but i guess there won't be any problems when doing the skip (for the lazy).
