Rather simple yet correct response on this matter seeing that it was one of the points the pro-camp relentlessly made / thumped on when asked about it. That no iframes is so much better as being the norm and we just need to get better at it.

it makes the game more fun then just circling around the boss, i-frames you can dodge into combat if you tie it right and idk it just intensifies it rather then just playing ring around the rosey and occasionally dodge.

I prefer iframes too. I will give a game a second chance when the update arrives on PC.
It seems that the update on August 6th will be significant.

people think it's "easy" mode with iframes. uhhh like no it just makes fights more intriguing. without i frames you are playing ring around the rosey and attacking bosses asses/backs.

I watch a austrian souls streamer who plays the game right now an he played the game when it comes out on PC. He said, the game feels so much better now.

Optional configuration is the key phrase there.

In other words, it doesn't impact you if you don't want i-frames.
