Spectre gear droprates bugged (i think)

So since first encountered spectre mobs was farming them like crazy for like 20h in total...
Got helm, shoulders and weapon from the first 3 spectres i ever killed...since then not a single thing dropped from them. I have a feeling the rest of the set doesnt exist, is not in their loottable or droprates are 0%.

I feel your pain, I had the same experience farming them for 30 minutes. One thing that seemed to help if nothing was dropping is to either 1) exit and reload the game or 2) kill the handful of Spectre enemies earlier in the area.

This also applies to farming the Titan Slayer equipment. There are 2 enemies on the bridge and 2 in the corridor to the left (west?). Killing enemies in different zones seemed to help.

Just to clarify, they do drop mats and new lore pages for example...just not the set pieces.
I thought spectres are only encountered in rain district, am i wrong? Titan slayers dropt all their ♥♥♥♥ in like 20 mins for me.

The Spectres that drop their equipment, to my knowledge, are located at the end of Ghost town. I do remember there being an enemy type in the Rain District around the rectangular apartment building that drop the Kamas that are similar.

But, if you already got some pieces from the Rain District enemies, then maybe try out their "cousins" in the area I listed. There's like 6 of them located towards the cliffs that wrap around the back of the area. It's also same location where you can find the Bone armor set.

yeah totaly forgot about ghost town...and they did drop legs just now. Until red dudes spawned and replaced 3 spectres in rain district there was like 7 in total i think...anyways thx bro.

Drops in this game don't seem to work like Souls. Enemies have very high gear drop rates, but sometimes only some parts of gear drop from certain enemies. The other parts of the Spectre set drop from Spectres in another area (mentioned above). Basically if you aren't getting any more gear/item drops for ~10 kills in a row, best to move on.

Wait, did they drop legs for you in rain district, or ghost town?

If I interpreted Garam's last post correctly, when he switched from Rain District to Ghost town the spectre enemies their dropped legs.

At Ghost town, I got their scarf, body armor, pauldron, and arms. Oddly, legs never dropped for me at that location. Go figure.

But, the takeaway seems to be if the drop rates are drying up try farming a different set of enemies in that zone or others.

So when i started farming ghosttown, legs dropped pretty much in the first couple mins, and the rest of the set as well... so it seems by farming low level rain district mobs you cant get the hole set, maybe somekind of balance thing.
