HOW? Homunculus Mirage...

Playing with a controller...the prompt came up for 1/10000000 of a microsecond and I accidentally placed the mirage right next to the Homunculus. Now it's gone and I can't place one anywhere else. It says go back to the Homunculus and I do and nothing...I keep having to start from the same spot....hellllp
