It's in that broken bridge, you need to have light armor or no armor at all to make the jump, also if you have the red cape that gives you 5% movement speed it helps.
From what I gather there are only three claymores, and they are the only representation of two-handed swords in the game (and there is one ultra-greatsword). The real pity is the slow and clumsy moveset, a lot of devs, including fromsoft should check how swift and elegant these weapons are IRL.
