you need mk4 to get more resistance and power and other benefiz .. if unlock delug +mk4 - the manufaktoring of +2 gems is unlocked - this gems are like leveling - with mk3 its more pain with red the knights -
some enemies are easily for dodge
- enemies with a horizontal weapon swing have mostly a wide angle and you get hit (better a roll)
Mostly I use 3 parts heavy armor and 2 light to get more technomancer resist
I always upgrade the armor - and .... with heavy armor you get less damage from weapons .. but you are weak to technmancy - with strengh you are more a tank - slower and so on ... some penalties - armor is important - as technomancer with full heavy armor is a bad decision -
yes - after 3 bosses + one recaliba it change some of the enemies - full recalibration - the game gets some baddass knight :D
with mk3 its better to run away(red nights) - excepts when you are a parry master - the red knight (except onehanded feels buggy and bow) are parryable it take a long time (3000 health)
focus on dodge is a good idea
So, he will hit you and you won't, and neither will you parry him, but that would nullify the damage.
I recommend having some super-duper heavy weapon for duel-parries)
Mostly 2* Strength + 2*Constitution + 1* Agility.
I use Ring of Talent and Ring of Exceeding Talent. E.G.
I try to fight Blademaster Nurgei (killed Konrad, Aberant Knight and Wormlord).
Somebody on the discord channel recommended the Armor Buster to fight him,
because i made so little to nothing damage with the kopeshs.
I am still not able to defeat him. Armor buster deals average 1300 damage, sometimes over 2000 with a critcal hit. But is slow like a dying slug.
After i manage to take 1/5 - 1/4 of his health he goes up in the air.
And when he comes down while you tried to avoid the whole time his spells he sends a shockwave which kills you instantly. you cannot jump over it.
You can hide behind one of the pillars which will break afterwards.
But the second time he goes up a tornado also comes after you.
It's basically impossible to reach a pillar and stay alive.
Forgot to mention, if he hits you 50-60% of your health is gone and you are unable to move for two seconds. (At least that is often the case)
I use greater Dreadguards Concotion for higher damage. But 20 seconds are over fast before you get chance to hit him.
This game was made to play Shield in melee With Retaliation damage on blocks or Bows with near-constant invulnerability and tons of damage.
I believe, the most common mistake, will be wasting you Perk Point on Vampirism, as even the smallest gem will give you much more, even with MK5 stat-gems.
If you do not want to use bow (stupid, but commendable), or would want to play some 2-handed, but not overly large weapons, try the Armor ability with ~20 Int, that would give you tons of mana and 2 free hits to the face.
Skip Illusionst, as it is only usable on the Sluggish weapons (they have such a long animation time, that you won't stagger your illusions, though that won't make them hit their [or any] targets more accuratly xD ), and take Mindblast for occasional double damages (with an upgrade).
Oh! and don't forget to get some Decay debuffs, as they do the job of Armor Buster, but for any hit.
An amulet will cover all your health/mana expenditures, and your ring slots are empty + you are free to upgrade you weapons with some utility, life Lifel/mana-leach or stamina-leach.
I strongly recommend having an Attack speed ring, as it boosts you for more than it's 10%.
If you are not going ultra-heavy with shields and stuff, try Medium.
Floating guys don't do THAT Much damage, Uber-red-knights shouldn't be parried and steam says you can kill Archinquisitor's illusionary bodies around the arena (never knew that before I got the achievement, though xD).
Thank you for the advice! I have been playing with the one handed mace hammer and the shield that looks like a robot face and on my off hand the winged bow. Ok I need to internalize all this, and sit down soon and just try to put this all together. I think I still have a free perk point, otherwise I'll probably have to restart the run. :( I seriously doubt that Belisarius can be defeated with melee weapons anymore but I know I'm wrong haha. Anyways thanks again!
