Mine had your character waking up on the platform like the intro of the game.
ah yeah so it just reverts to the sort of lame ending. Spoiler for the full knight ending: events play out similar, the god like being pierces the anomaly and all that, it shows your character floating unconcious, then it shows enemies racing to come attack you presumably but the knight on the horse grabs you and puts you on the back of his horse and rides off across a vast plain and says something along the lines of "wake up dreamer, the fights not over yet"
I assume your ending was triggered by touching the sphere instead? I saw someone post that there are 4 endings. I wonder what triggers the other 2.
I'm pretty sure that cutscene is always supposed to happen, it's just that sometimes the game bugs out and doesn't show it. I did 3 runs: one where I interacted with the globe and killed the boss, one where I interacted with the pillar, failed the run to the sphere and killed the boss, and one where I succeeded in run up to the sphere, killed the secret boss and then went and killed the final boss. In the first 2 situations after the initial ending cutscene I'd see the horse and it would look like cutscene would start playing out, but then game would just abruptly cut away to credits. In the successful run I alt tabbed during the initial ending, and when I tabbed in the SK dragging you away from the monsters cutscene played properly, so I assume that there might not be multiple endings but the cutscene is just bugging out sometimes.
