buff swimming please

Seriously, this water puzzle got me fedup, i Can manage the instakill snake, but i Always endup dying of lack of oxygène and the potion of oxygène drop by the mob is not enough, i gollow the red light, but thé swimming animation is to slow, therefore i drown before reaching thé next red light. Please, fixe that.

Did you use the breathing potion? (Divers Lungs Concoction) Btw I did it without it cuz I only found out about it after. I was wearing Ring of Travel though so that might have helped. Also try equipping lighter or no armor. So there are at least 3 ways to buff for that "puzzle" to my knowledge.
