that's a mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ eva /rei with it, LMAO.
it's basicly watching eva.
It's not "just twirly bident" or "inspiration".
It's 1-to-1 copy. With specific edges, angles and proportions.
You can't be seriously defending this.
dude its a red intertwined set of spears. sure its distinctive and iconic but its like saying the look of the dragonslayer cant be replicated in other games. it can and its not that big of a deal
This is like reading how stuff like having iron maidens in Dark Souls was taken from Berserk because it obviously couldn't have been taken from anywhere else, just manga or anime or another Japanese game because that's the only thing you people would know.
All dragon slayer references in From Software games have proportions and design details different from the source material.
This thing is not different, even how spiral goes and how blades are formed are identical.
If you could just dismiss copying as inspiration, copyright law wouldn't exist.
Let's see if the shape of blades, and proportions of spiral are also identical to Eva's spear design.
