I think they removed it unfortunately... I was super bummed to not see it or still hopefully haven't found it. But I've been almost everywhere and watched a couple playthrough to see if anyone is at it but no. Some things that make me think it's no longer a thing is that the boss Nurgel is now in a different setting entirely (on a floating tower in the sky) and the massive robot monsters are now scaled down and re-used in the Upper Blocks. Also, If you take the train station and look outside you see can see a foresty area that looks like it could have been that area mid way and if you look outside that area you'll see a platform that looks like it could have been a stopping point for the train. If you time your jump and jump on it you'll break the map into an area that looks very similar but is out of bounds.

its amazing how clean the game looked, compared to what it is now, with all the screen fx...

clean looks so much better.
