Will Bleak Faith work on Steam Deck?

The game works fine on the Deck, you'll just have to use Proton-GE instead of stock Proton, otherwise it crashes anytime a tutorial window pops up. Beyond that, works great

I searched for proton ge but didn't find anything. Do I search from the store or from the desktop?

I don't have a Deck, just use linux. I personally just download the latest version of Proton-GE off GLoriousEggroll's github page manually, and place it in the compatabilitytools.d folder in Steam's main folder.
A quick search just now told me you can also look for something called ProtonUp-QT in the discover store in desktop mode, that helps you manage proton versions including GE apparently. The latter is probably a lot easier.

Do you have a good framerate ? because I don't and I want to know if it's cryoUtiliies related, also i can't use fsr for reason

I am using proton GE on steam deck an I cannot get past the first tutorial videos, it keeps crashing there.... =/ looks like a fun game but ill have to refund it if I cannot get it to work...

Yes, I have to agree that it's not possible to pass tutorial screen. maybe it's the problem with video format they are using?

Plays fine for me. Maybe try not forcing compatibility with Proton, or using a different one. I'm not forcing compatibility and using the Beta OS.

It works but it eats through battery pretty quick. I noticed that even with the settings at minimum it was still consuming close to 25W/hr and that was with the framerate locked to 30.

How did you passed tutorial screens? It stuck for me. With or with out compatibility option.

I have Proton GE. Used the application search on the Desktop side of the OS to add it.

there might have been a point where i used the touchscreen to hit something to continue? not sure though. i don't remember that being an issue
