That's before going into the whole ripped animations issue (which I'll give you the benefit of the doubt about). Don't push games out before they're ready, even if it's your first.
I will say, you get points for sound design and cutscene animation.
You DO have something here, but it's wasted if people can't see it due to poor function.
- Just download my Input.ini file : https://www.sidescrollstudios.com/Forsaken/
- Pick the zip file Input.zip or right Input.ini and pick : save link as
- Then just go to : C:\Users\{you user name}\AppData\Local\Forsaken\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
* Note * If you don't know how to get your username just click on the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of you screen or hit the Windows key and then mouse over icon that is a round circle with a person in it, use that as your : {you user name}
- Then just copy my modded Input.ini into that directory above(so you are in the WindowsNoEditor folder) and overwrite the old Input.ini(the file that is currently there)
After the controller fix your new controller bindings are:
Left Thumbstick press : target lock
Right Thumbstick press: toggle walk
Left Bumper: is sprint
A: is jump
D Pad Left: is toggle stealth
X: is pick up and interact
Y: is primary item
B: is doge
Right Bumper: is attack
Right trigger is parry / block
Left trigger is the alt move set button
Hope this helps someone, here is a full post I made on it if you need more options and details: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1173220/discussions/0/3783625216789777527/
Sure, one could argue that you shouldn't have to.... but the game doesn't mention controller support in the info..... so....
Currently using a DS4 controller via BT, with Sony prompts, didn’t edit ini files or alter key mapping, and everything seems to be working just fine.
No DS4windows, either. Just native win drivers and steam settings.
Bindable Middle Mouse Button
Rebindable Suicide function (Numpad 5 hardcoded)
