Huh? I know there's just three of you. I've been following this project since your Kickstarter. Do you mean to tell me you developed a Souls-like game and don't even have different sets of controllers on hand to test with?
Controllers are to Souls-like what KB+M is to shooters. I just don't understand the thought process here. It's one thing for developers to make their dream game, but they must also set aside personal preferences for things as obvious as controllers, especially for this genre of game. The following isn't hyperbole: this genre of game should have been designed controller-first. If you wouldn't have been stubborn on this issue, your game would have MUCH better reviews. Virtually all of the negative reviews mention the janky controller support, and it's easy to see that it's the #1 issue by far. Yes, controllers "work" and there are ways users can improve it, but it's still janky. Did you not see this as a potential issue that could ruin your launch-day numbers?
I'm just disappointed because you put years of work into this game; you poured your heart and soul into it. But it's taking a launch day beating for something that anyone knowledgable of the Souls genre could have warned you about.
Basically you replace the current Input.ini file with the one I linked, enjoy
The minute you start explaining ya gotta go in here do this and if that doesn't work ya gotta go somewhere else do that they start losing interest brother and next thing ya know they're wanting to get a refund, then
Then they gotta go back and reconfigure they're controllers back again to play there other games they used to play that all work on the same functionality ffs ... Do ya see my point without being rude [m just friggen frustrated
Controller issues should be better now.
You can do eit guys, keyboard is for giga chads
