I can recall jumpin just over something slashing and jumping again.

Quite good game, better than I expected. It's actually really fun. It's really not that hard if you grew up on Sonic and other platforming stuff like that. Some things are annoying though, like projectiles coming from enemies that are not on the screen and they randomly hit you in a millisecond before you could even react.
But still.... girls & mechas = win

I will give the game a recommendation but I will admit it does have some flaws that I will list.
Its overly difficult at the beginning, needed to use the infinite potion cheat to get through the game.
I don't mind the idea of the multiple plot twists (which I will not spoil), but the story flubs with an ending that doesn't resolve the fates of the characters or resolves those twists. Heck, there is a whole plot thread in the 3rd chapter that is never brought up again.
With that out of the way, the game has a browser game feel, but not in a bad way, it feels nostalgic to the days I would play games from sites like Cool Math Games. I can forgive the rather simplistic graphics and combat as a result, especially with the price (full price or the current sale).
While the combat is simple, there is variety in the various weapon and "armor" types.
The characters and monsters look appealing, albeit generic anime stuff.
Love how the devs input a weapon and costume skin feature.
Decent replay value with EX mode and New Game + mode.
In terms of a scale I give it a 7-10.
