Product Key?

Bought a five licence product. Installed a couple of weeks ago. Today it's asking for a product key. What's that about?

I found the local installer mentioned on the support page and ran it. It said that the product key was already being used on another machine. I uninstalled and then reinstalled through Steam. It hasn't asked for the product key again as yet.
