Resolutions
@dev(s?): Could you add 2560x1440 as a resolution (assuming it would make a difference for your art assets)? Would love to enjoy the amazing art style in all its crisp glory.

I would love to have extra-widescreen as well. (Same resolution as parent post.)

It's not an official solution, but you can change the resolution manually in the Windows Registry Editor in the following path:
HKCU\SOFTWARE\SunheadGames\Carto
You can modify there the following values with your disred resolution (e.g. 1440/2560 decimal):

Screenmanager Resolution Height Default
Screenmanager Resolution Height
Screenmanager Resolution Width Default
Screenmanager Resolution Width

and the following to 0:

Screenmanager Resolution Use Native
Screenmanager Resolution Use Native Default

When I first launched it, it had perfect ultrawide support. I had to restart the game, and now I'm at 1080p. So I know it's definitely possible, just trying to figure out a workaround.

When I first launched, I'm pretty sure it was widescreen stretched to ultra-wide. When I went into the config and messed with the settings, then it had black bars on the left and right. I prefer that to stretched, but I'd really prefer ultra-widescreen support properly.

I could be wrong about the stretch, though. I didn't really pay much attention to the details before that point.

I just tried something and it seemed to work out. I set the game to windowed mode, then used Borderless Gaming (free on github) (I imagine any borderless app will work) and it made it perfect ultrawide. Here are some screenshots:

Hey, thanks. Here's a gallery with a few more, I'll update as I play more: https://lensdump.com/a/jHci7

Resolutions of 2560x1440 might be doable. We're testing it and see if the art assets are good to go.

As for the ultrawide support, we might not implement it in a short time though we'll keep this in mind. The screenshots Nabs shared are just so gorgeous! We don't even know our game is capable of this.

The game now supports resolution up to 2560 x 1440. Thanks for your patience.

Hello! I just wanted to say that the 2560 x 1440 resolution is not available in Game Pass. I'm still stucked at 1920x1080.

Hi NeoJ, sorry it took much longer. The patch for Game Pass PC should be available now. Please try it again and let us know if that doesn't work. Thanks!
