Is native support included?

Starting this afternoon I am unable to play the game. It launches to the start menu normally, but when I press begin the buttons disappear but the game stays on the start menu and doesn't change to the opening screen with the text. I have tried restarting my computer and re-installing the game with no luck. Is anyone else having this problem?...

The game launches in a window so large that it goes well past the borders of my screen- I can't seem to resize or make it go 'fullscreen'. I know I can add the '-fullscreen' command to the steam launch options, but I would like to have it windowed. Any advice? Edit: Actually the steam launch options for fullscreen won't even work here. Edit 2: I found a third party program called ResizeEnable that worked like a charm. I'll leave this here in case anyone else has the same issue....
