When and how do i unlock Venomess?

from what I saw online it was the WURM BOSS (night maw) in the highlands behind a waterfall. Tried the boss twice and still not quite high enough to kill it.

You can unlock her by fighting the "NIght's Maw" wurm boss in the highlands. You need 2 wurm baits you get from the goblin chests around the map.

Does anyone have a map of where the waterfall is, what level do you have to be to fight the wurm boss?

For the entrance to Night's Maw - go to Codex Halls teleport point and climb up the steps. When facing the Codex Halls dungeon entrance go to the right into the underground cave and keep to the right until you see a cavern with three glowing skeletons at the far end.

To get the bait you need to find half-buried chests from all around the highlands zone and unbury them. They will either net you a Wurm Bait or you will fight goblins. There is also a second type of half-buried chest in the caves where the boss fight arena is and when you interact with those you will fight kobolts and then get a bait from the chest.

The sword skin is pretty easy to get once you unlock the request board - Wolf sells it for 25 helper coins iirc which you can get from 9 pretty easy repeatable quests.

Ugh.... the freaking Wurm boss keep on despawning. I guess, it's on a timer and you really need DPS to be able to take it down in time. Or well.... guess, I need to get my DPS up before doing his. **sigh**

Thanks man, I'll give that a shot. My Wingrave is not going to cut it, unfortunately.

I know "my attempt at doing it with a level 15 Wingrave" isn't going to help you much, but just saying he's a solid character for it. It's a long fight with a ton of adds. I was mowing them down with a solid 2-hander, and Wingrave abilities gave me the staying power I needed. I suspect you'll find your own way. Venomess is awesome and worth the trouble!

I leveled up Grendel and he beat the Wurm boss to unlock Venomess for me. :)
