So that said I would recommend the PS5 version, but there are people who don't have any issues on PC either. Also PS5 version runs at like 60fps too
Also on their X "twitter" account they posted a screenshot showing a Mods tab but idk if that's going to be for PC only or not.
Hope that answers your question and happy hunting!
Thank you for the detailed answer. I think I'll go for the PS5 version in this case. I generally prefer gaming on PC, but I want to avoid any problems.
Thanks again.
That's really, really unfortunate.
My PS5 is like new, barely used.
I bought it before my illness. Wayfinder is actually only my third game on the console.
Freeze frames lasting several seconds, that can't be right.
I should have bought it for PC.
Then I would at least have had the option to get a halfway decent gaming experience with various settings.
On the PS5, I only have quality mode or performance mode.
Or am I missing something?
Oh, that annoys me, because I actually really like what I see on the screen.
I've played on both Quality and Performance with no glaring issues besides a few frame drops on the large open zones when it loads a new ♥♥♥♥♥ of area but nothing else.
Not sure why you're having that kind of issue, sorry
It also makes no difference whether I use performance or quality, or whether I use the upscaling function or not.
I also tried testing the field of view; on PC, something like that can definitely make a difference. Unfortunately, no change.
No micro-stutters, just freezes that last for seconds.
Well, I was stupid. If I had bought it on Steam, I could have returned it if there were any problems and then tested it on the console.
I'm learning from this.
