It depends on how well it did in the recent sale, playerbase is still rather low but with xbox release soonTM and the recent reviews actually being positive (80%+) we can only hope.

I hope so, because this game as great potential for expansions and other things to extent the core of the game.

On their official website they 100% made those games, including Darksiders:Genesis.

Might as well add the first two Darksiders games to that list.

Not really, Vigil was about 200 people, AS was about 50 for the majority of its existence. The team initially split between Airship Syndicate and Gunfire Games but considering how long it has been it would be false to say that either studio in its current form is the same people that made the first two Darksiders.

I would agree, I think only like 3 people form the first 2 DS games started Airship studios and we all know way more then 3 people made DS1 and 2.

Quality over quantity.
The key people (namely Joe Madureira) who worked on the first two Darksiders games are currently working at Airship.

Joe Mad, Ryan Stefanelli and Clint Bogue are at AS, David Adams, Richard Vorodi, Ben Cureton and Colin Bonstead are at Gunfire. There might be lot of other people who worked
on Darksiders 1 and 2 that are also part of those studios and there are also a lot of people that are not involved with either company. Reducing the work of hundreds of people to one name that you know is nonsensical.
