End game question:

So I just hit level 30 and I'm putting my build together.

I've been looking around but a lot of the information is out dated so I figured I'd ask a more experienced player:

What is the end game gameplay loop?
From what I understand, level 30 is when you can start getting some of the really powerful gear through mythic hunts.

But I couldn't find what exactly you use it for? Just, like, you take it on the mythic hunts? If someone can enlighten me about end game/end game activities/loop , I'd be grateful ^^

Also I know the dev is really active, if you could drop any info if you're planning to add more end game content, that'd be cool too!

The endgame is collecting gear/echoes/furniture for the sake of it really. The main incentive to repeatedly defeat mythic hunts is to unlock those things and max out a character's power level. There's always decorating your house!

It's more of a 'because you can' kind of thing. The final final goal of the game I suppose is to be able to beat all the mythic level bosses on the highest difficulty, which can be quite challenging if you don't gear up from them first, likely on a lower difficulty; also getting max level echoes for your build from expeditions.

Currently in endgame, but now have the DLC to play through.

I would say getting full legendary armor for your character, level 38 weapon, max echo fusion, and getting level 38/38/35 accessories. Also rare mount collecting

As for what I do, mythic hunts with modifiers, heroic difficulty, and expeditions for resource farming.

I also kill some of the big world bosses for the unique drops

I think with crucible update there may be higher level accessories and/or echoes but cannot confirm haven't been able to play.

I'd say if you can defeat every mythic hunt with 3 shadow imbuements on heroic then you're a champ
