Best echo dust method

Hi all, after reaching endgame progressing insanely well, finally got my power level up to 4000+

Only thing I haven't done yet is echo fusion, was waiting to get as many level 30+ echoes before starting

Now I see echo fusion seems expensive. I noticed you can get them from the job board and from dismantling echoes

Is there any tips/tricks on regards to which are best to turn into dust? For example I have many dupes should I be dusting all white/green dupes?

I do plan to use every alt character at some point so I do want to have some left over but I guess they are easy enough to farm. Just trying to bring my character to whatever the max power level is (4500? 5000?)

The safest echoes to dust are pure duplicates (same name, level, and rarity), as well as duplicate echoes of the same level but a lower rarity (a purple will always be better than a blue will always be better than a green will always be better than a white).

I do the wurm farm since a ton of them spawn, they drop often, and the level 30 purple are the only version you will want to keep. Even then, you only need one for each character (maximum), then dust all the rest. You'll also get some jewelry during this process so you can earn some gold too.

The only catch is that you'll periodically need to go out and restock wurm bait from the areas where goblin buried treasure are found.

if you don't want to go through all that trouble, any boss that spawns lots of adds is viable as well. Trial, Spider, Mimics, etc.
