Mythic hunt droprates

Trying to farm the Argent Disciple accessories set which the wiki states drops on Argent hand hunt... I've done it almost 100 times in the last 3 days with 0 drops for either Argent Sash or Tablet of Forgotten Wisdom...

Am I doing something wrong or am I just that unlucky?

The item may only drop in either the mythic version of the hunt or the regular hunt, not both. There's a chance you're doing the wrong one.

Also only 2 pieces will drop from the boss, the 3rd is normally craftable in skylight

This feels like the aftermath of Live service. The set you’re describing does drop, but yeah… had to kill that boss many times (over 100 of the material from it) to get the full set.

It’s a pain, but you are not doing anything wrong. Just kill the boss more.

Coincidentaly I just got the Sash after 113 kills... I guess another 100 for the Tablet xD

You cannot get that set from the Mythic hunt, it only drops from the normal version.

Edit: Someone just gave me an "Extra helpful" reward on this post but as it is obvious by the following conversation the content of this post is currently wrong.

After a total of 126 runs I got both drops on Mythic Hunts as of tonight =)

Ah, ♥♥♥♥. You are right. They changed the loot tables with the 1.0 release.

As far as I can tell at a quick glance - yes. Previously every boss dropped two accessories from the "Myth of the..." sets, not it seems that they drop one of those and the two that would drop from normal hunts. Which is pretty awesome as it gives you more flexibility for builds with level 35 accessories.

Indeed that opens up full level 35 sets!

Only downside is the 38/38/35 might still be better to go for a lot of them

Did we get any accessories higher than 38 with 1.0? Haven't been farming crucible mythics

Yep, you can get level 40 accessories from the Crucible mythics.

I wasn't even aware of the drop rates differences prior to launch since I haven't played it till then. I've been using this https://wayfinder.atma.gg/en/Wayfinder_Wiki as a source for all drops and so far it was on point. Just my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ luck

Yep, you can get level 40 accessories from the Crucible mythics.

Ok I just got some today, looks like it's full level 40 accessory sets that each drop from the same boss.

While this is great and gives something to farm for - the downside is the old level 38/38/35 sets weren't brought up to speed? would've been cool if the last item could also drop at 38.

Anyway the set from Tyrssa looks great, got one of them

I would love for all the bosses to have a 4900 power level versions that would drop accessories at level 40. You can also get imbuement sets at level 40 as well, although the chance is low as blue ones will often drop if you have imbuements but that is true for those in hunts at any level.
