Mythic Hunt: The Reaver King w/ Gloom Collapse Mutator....
I'm curious...has anyone attempted this Mythic hunt? I'm seriously struggling with this one. Honestly, I don't think this was even intentional that the 2 be put together. But I'm sure someone's been able to do this

I've done it before but it is on the hard side especially the first time you are doing it.

That fight + that triple imbuement mutator is a tough cookie.

It is possible. Mostly so with a solid tanky build for a "stand your ground" tactic with Senja or Wingrave especially (Venomess could work eventually). Niss should be able to manage a little easier aswell, with her sheer amount of i-frames and movement.

I had helped quite a lot of people through that fight by giving support, to keep my allies alive while staying in one spot, close to the light well.

Feel free to add me, if you want some help / company.

Cheers!

As said, Gloom Collapse Reaver King is exceptionally tough, mostly chalked up to the Gloom Collapse restricting your safe zone dramatically. Generally, you should aim to clear the well as fast as possible so you can restore the torch and get rid of that giant slow zone, then you can just take the fight normally as long as you don't mind having to pick up the torch every so often when you get hit.

I second the sword-and-shield Wingrave "stand your ground" strategy - he has the health, sustain, and resilience to not get pushed around, and not having to move around as much means he can stay on top of the light well and never be at risk of getting boxed out of space. Beyond that, it's standard Reaver King nonsense: destroy his reinforcements, watch for Gloom on the ground, and make an effort to kill the king and his bear Marrow simultaneously.

@ViperClaw I appreciate the insight. I think I might take you up on your offer with that.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing with Wingrave, and that is who I main. But it is incredibly hard to do this solo. I'm in awe honestly with the fact that you guys have actually done this. I'll try the suggestions you gave and see if I can manage. I appreciate the good insight

Get the well asap and focus on the reaver adds when they spawn. After that you would have more breathing space to dodge the boss attacks without dropping the torch from hard to see damage as often.

If you play sword and board, i recommend to use: 1 light attack -> short hold of heavy attack and release -> first skill -> rinse and repeat

You could also press block instead of using the first skill to insta-reset all animations and immediately start another light attack for the next "two hit combo".

One of the most effective combos in Wayfinder. It even charges up your weapon ability rather quickly as a bonus.

The combo alone isn't everything though. The overall build is a huge factor aswell. But maybe it helps you on your journey anyways.
