The game is using all my Vram
Does anyone else have the same problem as me ?

I tried reducing all graphics settings to medium, resolution is 1920 x 1080 reduced to 80% and frames per second limited to 60.
But nothing works, my vram is still used at 80 - 100%.
Using BazziteOS I have access to MangoHUD and therefore I can see during the game the quantity of Vram used, finally for information in open locations the game sometimes exceeds 8GB of Vram with the parameters mentioned above.

My config :

-OS: BazziteOS (Fedora Silverblue)

-CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
-GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT

-RAM: 16 GB
-VRAM: 8 GB

With that said, if you did have issues with VRAM being used, that's most likely coming down to how Linux handles vram usage differently. If you wanted to limit the VRAM you can use an launch argument -vramsize <size_in_MB> to do so or increasing the page file.

I'm curious, was it like this before the last update?

So to be honest, before the update the game crashed more often,
so there's something better on that side.
But regarding the Vram, for my part it was already like that before the update and it's still the same after.
To avoid saturating my Vram I try to get to enclosed spaces like dungeons or my apartment as quickly as possible.
It's only there that my Vram suddenly drops to around 4 GB.
At skylight my Vram remains at around 7 GB, but in the highlands if I stay too long the Vram always exceeds 8 GB and inevitably ends up cause a crash if I don't change locations as quickly as possible...

Thanks for the info, i'm not a dev i'm just going through something similar minus the crashes. I'd like to test it further myself but any game that makes my system turn into a toaster oven (only happens since last update) I generally avoid, which sucks because I really like this game.

My sympathies to the devs, I understand it's incredibly difficult to fix these kinds of issues due to the variety of hardware configs out there.

A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Thank you for your reply.
As I really like your game, I persevered and suddenly I noticed something interesting.

After 1 - 2 hour of gameplay and dungeons, the game finally calmed down with the crazy use of my Vram (more than 8 GB per moment).
Strangely the more time I spend in the game the more my Vram will stabilize.
So after a certain time in the game, my Vram in the highlands will be limited and will no longer exceed 7.8GB.
I don't understand why at all but that's what happened ^^

Ps : Aside from the few small issues with Vram and 2 or 3 minor issues, your game works pretty well on Linux ;)
