Is there a good way to get this mat?
Just says you get it in Highlands but do i really have to run around the open world Highlands area and kill random things?

Keep an eye out for mineral veins and treasure chests as well. But otherwise, yes, just do stuff in the Highlands and be thorough about stuff you pick up, and you should be flush with supplies in short order. The nice thing about the game is that it's very direct about telling you where to find specific materials.

Killing stuff and doing events in Frostmarch drops cragged spectra sometimes as well but it is hard to say which zone nets you that kind of spectra faster. And yeah, it is a problem.

yea was curious about the spectra cause i don't like the idea of still needing to farm it with my 4th character. heard there is a better way to just farm the modifier things so you don't have to craft them youself with the cragged.

For what it's worth, the news post released today about the upcoming first quality-of-life patch this month specifically mentions adding more spectra to Frostmarch, so it should soon be easier than ever to collect the spectra you need.

yep no longer having an issue finding what im looking for with new update!

Issue with farming mineral nodes in the open wolrd is that it also gives verdant spectra, which is completely useless once you've got all the items from the merchant :x
I think a NPC for trading spectra might be needed at some point.
