Mutiplayer DOES NOT WORK

Me and my friend are both level 7. I click +Part Member okay? okay. Then steam overlay pops up i goto his name on my buddy list okay? okay. I right click his name, and go down to join game and nothing happens. I dont have any option to invite him through steam overlay. He does though, so he invites me I click Join annnnnnnd nothing. nothign happens. Im still standing here with my d*ck in my hand. this is VERY frustrating. People in the discord say "your still new so play the game more and figure it out"...its so inclusive aint it? so inclusive and welcoming.

I am. I passed the part where co-op is supposed to unlock. atleast thats what I was told. They said in Discord you have to pass the mission about the Spider Webs or something about Webs. I beat that days ago

everyone will just tell you to "git gud" (whatever that means) and figure it out yourself with youtube and google. that seems to be the only answer these children have on here...but i agree...me and 4 other people still havnt figured out how to play with one another and were all lvl 8-15 and have over 10 hours played. I didnt even know the game was multiplayer til i saw the "+Party Member" button.

That is weird. I just played a good hour with a buddy of mine and it connected fine. Are you, or your friends, behind a VPN or something? It's peer to peer so anything weird between you and your friends connection would cause an issue.

If you can, have you and a friend load the game on geforce now and see if you can join a game there.

Nope and were all on AMD. and we just stopped playing. 2 of them uninstalled the game. they said this is a mobile game lol..we came to the conclusion to wait til the final release of 1.0 and then reassess

yup were all like lvl 8-15 like i said. we've all been playing all week and just found out about co-op earlier.

OK, so plenty of people are co-oping just fine, dozens of hours here. It's not 'broken' and if you're getting it repeatedly, that tells you it's an issue at your end somewhere - if it was a server level problem, it would be widespread as plenty of folks using those same servers.

Potential issues -

VPN
Anti virus
modem setting
game progression
steam profile issues (for example, weird names that cause steam problems)

Joining my friend's game is as intuitive as I'd hoped it would be. Right click him on my friend list, click join game, I am instantly loading into his game.

Completed 100% of the "story" with my brother yesterday and we both havnt got issue
