bought exalted pack, put 640 hrs, had tons of everything now its all gone and moreover is pointless since one can just simple mod the game as much as you want
Plus its solo now and p2p at best some time later
Much better to lose the money when they shut it down, than seeing how everyone gets the content for free which i bought

I definitely agree that having bought what was supposed to be exclusive for a premium price should not have been devalued. Otherwise it should be refunded.
According to Reddit posts, various persons have successfully obtained a refund from Steam. You might be able to do so.

If you play a live service game, there's an implicit understanding that it can shut down at any time no matter how much time and money you've put into it. That applies to ALL live service games. Seriously man "compensation for time lost"? His compensation is that he got to play a videogame that he enjoyed for 640 hours and at least now he can still play the game if he wants, rather than it just being gone forever.

Maybe he's personally so full of himself that he thinks he'd be happier if the game had died and gone away for good, but you know what, he's totally free to replicate that experience by deleting it from his steam profile and sticking it on his ignore list so that it doesn't how up on his recommended feed in the future.

For those of us who are, you know, reasonable people, being able to keep playing the game is nice.

If you mean effect, how does something that happens now change something in the past? You were never under the effects of a single player's actions in your gameplay, so unless they have some form of time travel, your achievements should not be under the effect of a single player.

You have no idea how many games I've grinded for days/weeks even months to attain either Gear/Mounts/Transmogs etc. Only for said game to give what I grinded for away, either free or next to free to every player!. But I don't care. I know I did the hard work, I have the achievements that show date etc. You knew what you could be letting yourself in for when you purchased the product. That's on you, no one else is to blame. Things change. If it really concerned you, then you'd be trying for a refund and not here complaining trying for Brownie points. As for the modding, who cares ?. The only ppl ( Unless they Stream that are going to see the mods are their friends. ) Doesn't affect you in any shape or form.
