Pro tip to devs:
For the "1.0" release of the game, allow players to chose whichever starting character they like, and lock the rest of the roster on their profile (for in-game unlocking) after they make their selection. 💡

Senja - in Lost Zone (dungeon) Aureliens
Kyros- in Lost Zone (dungeon) Void
Venomess- Night Maw (the world boss) at Highlands
Grendel- in Lost Zone (dungeon) Mines

I'm pretty sure that I had all wayfinders unlocked by the time I was lvl10. Just follow thr story and they will unlock naturally. Senja was the last one for me to unlock with the Grendel and the 2 starters I didn't pick unlocking at the same time.

lvl 17 and haven't unlocked the last wayfinder. unlocked all in the first 5 hours. haven't gotten the last one since.

maw wasn't really that hard for me.

did it around lvl 10.
i died halfway, ran back to the cave and still killed the wurm before time ran out.

I'm pretty sure Grendel is assured from the slime boss. If not hes very high chance from the slime boss so just kill it a couple times.

Senja is an assured drop from the mimic boss but that is pretty deep in. She is a very high chance from normal mimics though. I'm pretty sure 99% of people won't get to the mimic boss pity drop.

As others have said Ven comes from Night Maw.
