yea thats not happening who has $500+ to blow on a card to play one game when i get 100fps playing cyberpunk 2077 on high settings. its the game hardly my specs.
You might want to wait for the next patch which supposedly drops in about 4 1/2 hours from now.
While it won't fix fps drops, the upcoming inventory limit will help a bit with lags once players got rid of most of their stuff.
As for fps, don't just set everything to low. Try limiting fps through either ingame settings or by Nvidia system panel. It probably won't look as great as you'd like it to be, but perhaps it will at least be playable.
Should neither work for you, you might try a refund and then check back on f2p release hoping for better optimization.
However, since it did work for you in beta the current stress on server by player inventories is the most likely cause for a wide range of issues. Patch most certainly won't fix all of that, but it's worth checking out how much (if any) has improved post patch.
In any case, you should contact their support with your specs. Due to the huge amount of complaints they currently have to deal with it might take a while for you to get a reply though.
We need to know your monitor, are you 1080p/1440p/4k? What's the refresh rate?
Probably because your DLSS is set to performance with low settings
Do you have the game installed on a m.2/nvme?
(resolution comes next of course... but stutter etc is usually a bottleneck between the disk or the gpu having texture streaming issues.)
If you can clear the texture cache for the game that should solve any major issues.
