Still trying several things and if I get it working I'll definitely reply here.
I tried to re-install EAC, and after reading about a bit, turns out a Window was supposed to open for me to select "Install" or "Repair". That does not happen for me. I just see a split second of a command prompt opening and disappearing and nothing else happens.
Might be my AntiVirus giving me grief so I'll mess around with that for a bit and see what happens.
This game uses "EasyAntiCheat EOS" (A Free Trial Version of Easy Anti-Cheat compared to "EasyAntiCheat"), which I have yet to find a download source to replace the file that doesn't work. Then again, maybe it is working. Maybe it is installing correctly. But having a "Error 87: The Parameter is incorrect." when manually attempting to start EAC Service, and the only things I'm finding are along the lines of re-installing it, which again I have done multiple times now, have mentally stumped me in the long term.
Checking in on EOS (Epic Online Services), I get the feeling that my problem lies in the absence of Epic Online on my computer other then the occasional Unreal Engine game. I'm not sure what to do at this point, but I've given up hope for the present. Going to set this game (And other games using EAC) aside until I have the motivation to mess around with it
again.
Thanks for the help and suggestions though!
From what I can tell it must of been Anti-Virus/Firewall related initially. After tampering around with many things, including Registry edits (Dumb Idea I know), I managed to narrow it down to thus. In any case I will say that being able to play again is great!
To those out there having issues: Check Firewall/Anti-Virus. Make sure that the installation of EAC is correct and possibly have it start in Adminstrator mode from the Wayfinder directory. Reinstall or Install if you have to. And try leaving the Registry Edits to last attempt before reinstalling Windows. I am not saying to jump into Reinstalling Windows because honestly its stupid, but if ALL ELSE FAILS, its an option.
Single player with very optional co-op and no anti-cheat whatsoever.
Issues surrounding getting an update or the installer in general.
Step 1:
Navigate to the installation directory of your game.
Locate the "EasyAntiCheat" folder.
Inside this folder, find the "EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" file.
Right-click on this file and select "Create Shortcut."
Right-click on the shortcut and choose "Properties."
In the "Target" section of the Properties window, add "install prod-fn" (without quotes) after the existing text.
It should look like this: "...EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" install prod-fn
Double-click the shortcut to run the installer. Note that no window will open, but Easy Anti-Cheat will reinstall silently.
Restart the game after the installation completes.
Step 2:
Check the EasyAntiCheat service.
Make sure the EasyAntiCheat service isn't disabled.
You can do this by opening the Start menu, typing services.msc, and pressing Enter.
Find EasyAntiCheat and check that the Startup type is set to Automatic.
Find EasyAntiCheat (Epic Online Services) and check that the Startup type is set to Automatic.
If not, right-click the EasyAntiCheat line, click Properties, and change the Startup type.
Step 3:
Verify the game files in the game's Steam folder.
Locate the game in the Library. Right click, go to Properties, and Installed Files.
Click verify integrity of game files.
