Kicked Due to Anti-Cheat Not Being Active
I'm not sure what happened or why in regards to my current situation.
The start of this issue was a mistake on my part:

I wanted to start another game from Steams Icon via the Taskbar, however I selected Wayfinder by accident. When the EAC started up I clicked on the "x" to close it down hoping the game would not launch. It did. I Alt-F4'd because I couldn't be bothered waiting on the Developer/Early Access screens.

Played some other video games like the Steam user I am and decided I would go and play some Wayfinder again, because why not. The EAC started and instantly closed which caught me off-guard as usually it would stay on screen longer. The game booted up and I went to log-in. The game shows the screen "Traveling to Skylight..." before suddenly dropping back to Title Screen with a pop-up saying "[4] Anti-cheat client protection not active [NullClient]".

Steps I tried to fix the problem with no progress:
Opened base game folder and tried the two .bat files to uninstall and install EAC.
Tried the .exe file in said folder. Nothing.

Deleted the "Certificate" folder in EAC from base game.
Verified Integrity of Cache. Nothing.

Delete whole EAC folder from base game directory.
Verified Integrity. Nothing.

Disabled RGB Chroma Connect in Razer program. Nothing.

Uninstalled Game. Installed it again. Nothing.

Uninstalled Game. Restarted. Installed it again. Nothing.

Checked my Appdata directory for EAC. Found separate folders tied to each game that uses EAC. Install.Bat file in base game directory has a series of letters/numbers. Found folder tied to letters/numbers in Appdata. Only has laucher.log whereas other EAC folders have .eac and .eac.metadata files, while Wayfinder's EAC folder did not.

Confusion overtakes me as I search up the error I found in log and found little to no results:
[Connection] Connect result: SSL connect error (35) Response Code: 0 Destination IP: X.Y.Z.D
Connection to the Content Distribution Network failed! Curl Code: 35!
[EAC Callback] Code: 506. Message: 'Connection to the Content Distribution Network failed! Curl Code: 35!'.

At this point I haven't been able to log in for two days now, which admittedly isn't very long, but still rather annoying. Any help would be nice!

Only other thing I have yet to try is make sure my Anti-virus is not flagging the game for whatever reason, as well as making sure my Internet's Firewall is not blocking it.
My problem with all this is that I've played the game fine for 16 Hours with no hiccups until my aforementioned Close EAC/Alt-F4'd Game.

One more thing I found are the registry entries HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\EasyAntiCheat and EasyAntiCheat_EOS. Might be worth a try deleting those, but make a backup first. Who knows what this does.

Yeah I actually went ahead and did that. I literally just uninstalled all things that use Easy Anti-Cheat because this isn't the only game giving me grief. Completely cleaned out EAC from Registry, Steamapps, and Program Files. Tried to play, for instance, Battlebit Remastered. Of course it kicked me from a lobby with "Anti-cheat not Initialized" and that just begs the question, "What the f**k is going on".

Still trying several things and if I get it working I'll definitely reply here.

send the devs an email. EAC is tough to deal with. Lost Ark and Smite uses it too and it causes issues.

Honestly, whenever I have issues with Anti-Cheat, which isn't often, I just "reset windows." It always seems like the easiest option lol

Progress has not been made, however I've found that the EasyAntiCheat Service is not starting up when I launch the game. (Error makes sense now)

I tried to re-install EAC, and after reading about a bit, turns out a Window was supposed to open for me to select "Install" or "Repair". That does not happen for me. I just see a split second of a command prompt opening and disappearing and nothing else happens.

Might be my AntiVirus giving me grief so I'll mess around with that for a bit and see what happens.

Tried everything I could, but no cigar. Currently sitting on the Easy Anti-Cheat EOS Service not starting when launching the game. Found a installer on Easy's website in order to actually get a prompt to repair/install the service, however there seems to be two different versions?

This game uses "EasyAntiCheat EOS" (A Free Trial Version of Easy Anti-Cheat compared to "EasyAntiCheat"), which I have yet to find a download source to replace the file that doesn't work. Then again, maybe it is working. Maybe it is installing correctly. But having a "Error 87: The Parameter is incorrect." when manually attempting to start EAC Service, and the only things I'm finding are along the lines of re-installing it, which again I have done multiple times now, have mentally stumped me in the long term.

Checking in on EOS (Epic Online Services), I get the feeling that my problem lies in the absence of Epic Online on my computer other then the occasional Unreal Engine game. I'm not sure what to do at this point, but I've given up hope for the present. Going to set this game (And other games using EAC) aside until I have the motivation to mess around with it
again.

Thanks for the help and suggestions though!

After spending 4 days on the matter I finally decided to Reinstall Windows. So far my games that use EAC are working, which makes me wonder if by trying to fix one problem I must of created a few more.

From what I can tell it must of been Anti-Virus/Firewall related initially. After tampering around with many things, including Registry edits (Dumb Idea I know), I managed to narrow it down to thus. In any case I will say that being able to play again is great!

To those out there having issues: Check Firewall/Anti-Virus. Make sure that the installation of EAC is correct and possibly have it start in Adminstrator mode from the Wayfinder directory. Reinstall or Install if you have to. And try leaving the Registry Edits to last attempt before reinstalling Windows. I am not saying to jump into Reinstalling Windows because honestly its stupid, but if ALL ELSE FAILS, its an option.

This issue won't matter once echoes releases.
Single player with very optional co-op and no anti-cheat whatsoever.

EasyAntiCheat will start and not begin the program. Cannot connect to online servers as a result.
Issues surrounding getting an update or the installer in general.

Step 1:

Navigate to the installation directory of your game.
Locate the "EasyAntiCheat" folder.
Inside this folder, find the "EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" file.
Right-click on this file and select "Create Shortcut."
Right-click on the shortcut and choose "Properties."
In the "Target" section of the Properties window, add "install prod-fn" (without quotes) after the existing text.
It should look like this: "...EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" install prod-fn
Double-click the shortcut to run the installer. Note that no window will open, but Easy Anti-Cheat will reinstall silently.
Restart the game after the installation completes.

Step 2:

Check the EasyAntiCheat service.
Make sure the EasyAntiCheat service isn't disabled.
You can do this by opening the Start menu, typing services.msc, and pressing Enter.
Find EasyAntiCheat and check that the Startup type is set to Automatic.
Find EasyAntiCheat (Epic Online Services) and check that the Startup type is set to Automatic.
If not, right-click the EasyAntiCheat line, click Properties, and change the Startup type.

Step 3:

Verify the game files in the game's Steam folder.
Locate the game in the Library. Right click, go to Properties, and Installed Files.
Click verify integrity of game files.
