damage meter
are there any waitfinders among you who would be interested in a damage meter to see who did how much damage in a dungeon or boss fight ?

Although it is a fine idea. When it comes to playing with randoms it is going to generate toxicity for sure.

you don't need a damage meter- toxicity comes either way because it's a character question.

So far it's not needed, maybe when raids come into play it'll be more useful depending on how difficult they are.

It is, but without a damage tracker there is less room to claim other people are bad and should be performing better.

At the end of the donjon, it would be great

Nope. People are far too toxic to be trusted with that. If only humans were not so horrible to each other. Even worse in a game where people can rush to the boss asap it will just ruin the dungeons. Those that get to the boss first will just claim that everyone else sucks. Gross.

Faster dungeon runs?
Totally not warframe.. warframe even has damage metrics post mission..

Not really because it will change how people play. Someone has to be aggroing the boss and dodging mechanics while the other players kill adds/wail on the boss. Damage meters wouldn't mean much in that case.

Damage meters are always a bad idea in any game. You have probably heard this before, but a perfect example on this is world of warcraft

Wayfinder is a good game and we don´t need anything that can create toxicity in the game.
A Damage Meter might work in raids, if the devs implement rules about bad behavior and take actions when needed

Yeah that game never caught on.

Damage reports at the end of missions are pretty standard and would be useful here as well. They are obviously not a bad idea in any game.

like even in FF14 yoshi knows everyone who raids uses ACT and hes stared down the camera and told us ''fine just dont harass people '' its not that hard to not be a jerk but people have trouble with this

Most damage/heal/whatever can sort of achieve both. It's fun to get MVP and might avoid harassment.

This game is pretty casual at least from what I've been through so far.

its as a per need basis really like if this game introduces hard raids but its not hard because of a tight DPS check its because of boss mechanics then you dont really need it but if there is a tight DPS check on most raids then it is needed etc etc
