game is fun for now, for me it depends on the long term motivation.
One thing that really does need to improve is communication from the devs, they need to post the updates on the forums instead of some Discord server. Retreating to Discord is very unprofessional.
Yep, this game has a huge potential, when the devs manage to fix the server players will come back, it's just a matter of time.
If they can, diablo 4 had 900 people working on it and they still could not fix server problems, how many are on this team ?
and the servers were just fine at launch. It was the ridiculous season 1 offerings that killed the game. Season 2 is even worse. That's how they killed their userbase that quickly. (What you're thinking of when it comes to their servers is how unstable they were during their closed beta.. that was near unplayable.
Their server problems got worse over time my man, i played all the beta's and played up until season 1 start and it just got worse and worse, like with any game though like this the servers get absolutely slammed at the start but hopefully they sort it out soon, i am looking at getting this but am holding off until they get up to speed.
Majority of players had no issues post launch. Most of that was taken care of in cbt which had the worst queues, and the worst server stability.. desynchronizations, disconnects, crashes, latency issues..
Post launch the queue at worst was 1 hour max ( I dropped around 300 hours into the game with an 85 sorc, 55 barb, and couple alts in their 20's. I've been gaming diablo since I first played it on mplayer.
DE has a long history of screw ups more than I can remember.
It's going to happen again. I'm not saying it in a harmful malicious way, It's just going to happen with their track record.
Oh, yes. I meant I dont think they will make the same mistakes. New mistakes are ok.
