Way-LIE-finder - Wayfinder Tokes will only unlock basic characters, despite it says ALL WAYFINDERS

We should get this straight. Your compensation for bad Early Access launch can be considered nice. On the other hand, your move proves that you don't give a brown-thing about players. So, few days ago you decided to punch your own chest and say "sorry", here:

You said that pricing was "not player friendly", as it was designed in predatory way - the player had to pay more to buy a skin, and he was left with 20% of the amount from this purchase, so to buy another skin he had to pay extra again and again. Example below:

- We can purchase pack of 1100 Runesilver
- But mtx (microtransation) WAS priced at... 1150 Runesilver

That WAS predatory as ♥♥♥♥. Okay, you decided to put non-predatory price for MTXs - 1100 and costs was set up to 1000. Okay. But we have another bait and unfair approach to the players here:

Wayfinder Token. Instantly purchase and unlock ANY CURRENT or future Wayfinder.

That's not true.

You can unlock only basic ones. Not the wayfinders you have to grind for or unlock memories first. These Wayfinders that we have grind for - collect memories - are locked and not to purchase using Wayfinder Token, despite they are named "Wayfinders". Is the Venomness Wayfinder? Yes. She is. Website of the game shows her as one of the characters and one of the Wayfinders, token says you can unlock ANY WAYFINDER. Well, that's a lie. We can't purchase her despite Wayfinder Token says we can purchase ANY. Ofc it's locked a little behind grind-wall, tower-grind-wall purchase-wall or lore-wall, but still.

I was thinking about returning to Wayfinder just to play this character, but well... Wayfinder Token is a lie or should have big * in corner, with description it works only for basic ones. Not all available, despite it says it can unlock ANY.

So, Airship Syndicate and Digital Extremes, maybe you should stop lying... again... and let people instantly know they will NOT UNLOCK some Wayfinders using Wayfinder Token, that is designed to unlock... (FALSE) any Wayfinder? ;)

Only the Wayfinder tied to the currently active reward tower is inaccessible for purchase outside of it. This is kind of a silly predicament, if they were to add her to the store someone might unlock her by accident whilst already owning the Reward Tower. She will become purchasable with a token when the season ends presumably.

But this does lock you out from using a token to unlock her early by choice which i do think should be an option. I'd leave this as feedback in their dedicated website.

100% agree with this fanboys are gonna say you can get her after 3 months or so, I am going to say ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on that, that's what they want, they want you to buy their ♥♥♥♥ battlepass so you unlock the cool character

Honestly, they should make her insta unlock on the regular paid pass. That would skip any issues. If you play for free you can farm Venomess before you even get her out of the pass now.

from what I understand.. yes you can unlock the basic ones.. but.. you can hold off on the token.. like I am, and you can use it on any new heroes (including heroic) that are coming down the pipe.

of course you can't use it to buy seasonal reward track related heroes.. that would be a logistical nightmare.

you don't need to buy the battle pass to unlock her though for free you get 25 levels in the battle pass and in those levels are her crafting material expect one which you can grind for in game. a f2p player can easily grind out those levels and in the meanwhile grind out her last material.

the reward tower is literally there for you to grind new characters, the devs will add a new one with every reward tower, what would be the point of buying them at that point lol, I hope you find the help you need

Jebus. On top of the actual token, the compensation package included 5 keys. As noted, you only need 25 keys total to unlock Venomess from the tower. Those five keys put me over the top anyway. I consider anyone who even wanted to use the token to unlock Venomess to be someone who either (a) isn't paying attention to the game, or (b) hasn't played very much. Probably both. It's the worst way to use the token right now.

If you aren't happy with the game, be unhappy. If you have legitimate complaints, by all means complain. I don't know if this is a long-term game for me either. Probably not, right now. But this specific complaint is stupid and irrational and only demonstrates you don't even understand the game.

Go yell at a cloud or something.

It actually did. I played Warframe since early access, and constructive criticism in the form of...well...complaints changed a lot of things in the game..everything from reworks of frames, to pricing adjustments on the market to loot tables.

Digital Extremes listened though...and a lot of things got changed. remains to be seen for Airship (fingers crossed)

Thats why Warframe lasted 10 years and is going strong
