shadow imbuement quest problem

hi guys,
just did the quest where i had to use an shadow imbuement in the codex halls, although i put it in the slot at the entrance, the quest didnt count for me. prblem is, now i aint got no shadow imbuement any more.

can i just farm them running the codex halls for a few times (i'm lvl5) or can i buy them at some vendor or smth?

You craft them at the echo matrix. And you used it outside (do this) or after you got inside?

I run this dungeon most solo but 2 times i forgot to stop auto matching and play with an Wingrave and think --->
what he doing here with Lv 15"? ;)

i crafted the item, then used it outside the door. should i've used it inside ?

you have to use it on the door, when you queue up for it. There's a little slot under the dungeon icon and sphere selection where you can put in an imbuement.
