I can't find any loot goblins

I need 6 loot goblins to craft a weapon. But I can't find them anywhere. I was told the first zone has them. But after 20+ runs I have yet to see one.
Do I need an attunement to see them, or something?

I've found 2 in the course of doing dungeons. It'll be a little event where you come across a chest but he is looting it, then he runs away and you have to kill him. Like the tracer things or the soul bound chest

Yeah they seem to be way too rare for the amount of crafting math needed. It would feel a bit better at least if they added expedition option for gs4k+.

Play a dungeon with greed modifier and I think it is guaranteed to have one. At higher tier dungeons they drop 5 gems per encounter.

This. But be sure to use only 1x greed, not two, or it won't spawn.

Oh, yeah, forgot to say this, thank you for adding it. Also I think a phoenix event is guaranteed if you play with the phoenix eggs modifier(solar + greed).
