Wow those prices

$150 USD for a founder pack?

Thanks for the fun closed beta test but full AAA paypig game editions cheaper lol

For the monetarily conscious, the ideal method would be to just get the base pack for $20, then decide if you will enjoy the game enough to get an upgrade. on average, the $90 pack might be the better value, if you do decide to, but if you are in for the long haul, the Initiate pack would be fine. relly depends on if having the premium pass over the normal paid is worth it to you

the $150 pack exists for those that truly believe in airship syndicate and want to support the development more.

20 bucks for a game that is going to be free ? why do you cry for this like... I'm sure you already paid a game 70 bucks and you were fine with that, 20 buck to help or nothing and you get the game free

Considering warframe's highest founder's pack Grandmaster was $250, the exalted pack for wayfinder is actually not as high as it could have been. I'm easily willing to pay $150 just because I'm still experiencing FOMO on excal prime and such. But if you just want to play the game and can't wait till 1.0 release just buy in with the 20 dollar pack. Either way you should get some fun out of it.

The game will be free anyways. Not only that but the pricing is actually on par with other games in terms of price for a founders pack.

It’s just extra stuff and support for the Devs, so no need to purchase it. I know I will be though because I enjoyed it enough to warrant playing it casually.

I ate stuff for 23 bucks just today so...i think 20 bucks for early access+ battle pass season 1 is fair enough.

They might as well. People are more willing to pay for a game before they have had enough time to play it and put a real value on it. Since gamers refuse to learn, and keep pre-ordering digital games that stand zero chance of running out, they keep doing it.

I am even totally burned out on the pity buy, the "its a mmorpg ill support it since there are so few being released"

it's literally 20 bucks to play it you don't have to pay 150? and for that to be the most expensive option with both seasons premium battle passes, 3(i think) champion token unlocks, multiple skins and a mount, as well as a completely exclusive hero. I'd say it's valued pretty fairly, but hey you don't need to buy that crazy I know.

I mean, look at the founders packs for PoE. Those were up to like $500+ on some of them. The money people put into the game allows the dev's to continue making content. That is why games like Warframe and PoE have been largely successful, because they release nonstop quality content, and give you the option to spend money or not on cosmetics you may enjoy.

Every dollar someone spends on a cosmetic just supports the devs that much more to keep adding more and more to the game.

But if you don't wanna spend a dime, you don't have to. The game is fully F2P if you so choose. The more expensive packs and such are for players who love the game and want to continue seeing the game getting more content.
