• All Mythic Hunts will now drop an additional item and guarantee an accessory drop
  
• The bonus chest in the Malefic Maw hunt will now always contain a random weapon as was always intended

XBOX
Resolved an issue that was causing Xbox to crash frequently and fixed various issues with achievements not unlocking

Introducing Hardcore Mode - When starting a new save you now may select “Hardcore” as an option.
Once a Wayfinder falls in battle, they cannot be used again on that save. Once all Wayfinders have fallen, that save can no longer be played.

Wayfinders on Xbox can utilize the cross play lobbies just like all other platforms. Please be welcoming to the new Wayfinders pushing back the Gloom alongside you!

• Reduced damage from some traps in Nightmare Mode (maximum 75% health damage).

Platform-Specific Fixes: PlayStation 5

• Fixed an issue where the game failed to load the most recent save slot when using the Back to game option in Activity.
  
• Fixed an issue where players couldn’t quit back to the Main Menu after entering gameplay through the Tutorial Activity.
  
• Added a proper warning message when trying to join a Nightmare game from a non-Nightmare save.

• Fixed an issue where level 38 weapons were missing levels after the update
  
• Fixed stutters when encountering enemies for the first time, particularly in Mythic Hunts
  
• Fixed an issue where save profiles were not being displayed at the start screen

Known issues

• When using Senja and performing Juggernaut's ability, the game will crash
  
• Players using the Turned Tabled mutator in the Trial of Lingering Light may experience a crash if idled outside the boss arena for too long

We wanted to give a quick update on the rest of 2024!

We realize it has taken longer than anticipated to get the Xbox version of the game out and we appreciate your patience! Our goal is for the game, along with the Critical Role Supporter Pack, to be available by end of the year. We’re excited to welcome Wayfinders on the Xbox Series X|S, who will be playing with Wayfinders across the other platforms and when we have a release date, we’ll share it.

As 2024 winds down, we’re preparing another major update that brings some highly requested features from players. The 1.1 update, expected in December, will include:

• Save Slots
  
• Nightmare Difficulty & exclusive cosmetic rewards
  
• New collectible items from our previous holiday event
  
• New artifacts
  
• Bug fixes, and other improvements.

Nightmare is a new difficulty setting even tougher than Heroic, and with it introduces one of the most requested features: rewards for completing ultimate challenges at the highest difficulty level! These rewards persist across all save slots once they’re unlocked in Nightmare mode, applying to both existing and new save files.

The challenges offer rewards like dyes, personas, and housing items that grant crafting resources like Spectra and Archaic Bones, along with memory fragments and gold. Over 35 new items are available for those who complete all challenges, including a special reward for those who complete every challenge.

Nightmare Difficulty is only available when starting a New Game and cannot be changed once selected. However, it comes with enhanced drops, including empowered versions of all existing artifacts and three new artifacts exclusive to Nightmare difficulty. The ultimate min/maxer’s challenge awaits!

We’ve previously announced mods coming before the end of the year. With our timeline and focus on these other platforms and features, mods won’t be coming before the end of the year. We’ll share more details about the 1.1 update in the coming weeks! Keep an eye on our social channels for sneak peeks of these exciting new features.
