I can't see how to answer the librarian's question.

I've got the room with his answer in the tableau, but whether i call him to that location or another, he just complains. Any idea how to move on?

If you are talking about spelling the name of a certain god, you need to actually "pass" the rooms, i.e, play cards on them in the correct order.

No, was the stage before that, but I managed to work that out. The other stages of the quest were easy.

it's not a matter of location, but the next card you play. It must match with the question the librarian asks. I have tried many times until I discovered that the lemurian has the 3 cards.

All of his questions in the entire block of text. you will find the exact phrase of any companions or volpain's cards name. Just skim the text for the titles of cards you have or may need to swap out for and give it to the guy.
