Boomerang X
I suck at it, yet I love it
While the controls are immediately intuitive, mastering them is another matter entirely. The air brake technique is as important as the teleportation to the boomerang, otherwise you'll only achieve flailing around the environments comically, which is what happened to me. With other games it could have led to quick frustration but here it still felt so fun that I kept trying.

In fact, while I hope there will be difficulty levels, or even better various parameters to adjust, to accommodate both experts looking for records or more casual players like me, I liked that the game never makes your mistakes feel punished excessively. If an enemy touches you, you start being engulfed by darkness and have a little time to teleport away to safety.

I also like the presentation, with simple but distinctive 3D visuals that can also run decently on pretty old hardware.

I was already captivated by the trailer months ago and the demo only cemented this as one of the games to look forward to the most.
