Is the game really only 2 hours long?

Why are games rated and compared against time as if they were movies? The quality of a game is what matters, not how quickly you theoretically could complete it on a perfect run never bothering to explore an ounce of the surroundings. Is a badly made game that takes longer, more worthwhile to play if the price is the same?

To answer the question, yes the game is 2 hours long for a single playthrough. I found it very fun to replay, however.

There's a new game + mode that more than doubles the campaign length. I'm at 3 hours in and I think I have at least 2 left.

Also, this game is very much worth your money even if its short. It's more fun than most games that drag themselves out with padding.

If that is how your value calculus works, then I suggest Warframe. People put 4000 hours into that game for $0.

One playthrough is 2 hours. I've gotten 15 hours of replay value already though.

Nah, I'm halfway through newgame+ and am already on 5hrs. Original game was probably 4 hrs

I just finished the main game in 70 mins but its not enough for me. That's why there is a new game + and also an endless mode which they released yesterday. Plus its on sale now, you should def pick it up if you have a chance.

I paid $10 for it and already got $5 worth of steam trading cards out of it so I think it was a good purchase. yes its really short though only like an hour and a half to 2 hours long but it packs all of its content into that little slice with no fluff which I appreciate a lot more than if they tried to artificially expand it to something like 10 hours.

As much as I love this game, I agree that $20 is a bit much. I beat it in ~4 hours and had a blast, but paid $10 for it, which feels like a steal. $15 base price seems more reasonable, due solely to the game's size.
(edit) considering endless mode, the chapter challenges, and NG+ (which I just now checked out), I'm just gonna go ahead and take back what I said lol. I'm currently at ~10 hours with roughly half the achievements remaining. It's hard for me to justify paying $20 for any game that isn't at least medium-sized, but I think the sheer quality and replayability gets it to the $20 point for a smaller/more focused experience like this. Guess I should write a half-assed review about it at some point.

Gameplay worth 40$ so its evens out
