Thought so and what a shame it is.

Will have to wait for a sale it seems, 16€ for the game, no matter how hard it's pulling at my nostalgia strings is little too much without the ability to play this with a friend.

Yes, this was a computer based "board game" you might say... where the initial thought was that up to six people would crowd around a computer [yeah right] and play the game.

I actually tend to find the multiple "human" player option useful for pushing the ai down the drain, at least thats what I did in the cd version.

Yeah, well.. it is what it is.

Game would be so much fun when played with other people but singleplayer is all we have.

I played this online by sharing the game window on a Zoom call and giving remote mouse/keyboard control to my friend. Webcams on if you want to verify they're not looking when you enter auction bids, lol.

Huh, that's a neat idea.. will look into that the next time i catch my friend online who's interested in the game. ^^

Found a pretty good multiplayer solution for the game with Parsec (which will also work with other strictly local coop/etc games) which works fairly well, but is somewhat prone to having lag spurts due to it being peer to peer connection based.

Other than the lag, it's working really well on a 3-way game we're playing right now!
