Room does not have complete floor?
I have filled every tile in my farmer's room, triple checking every tile. The floors under the walls and door are filled. Still, my farmer says that the floor is incomplete!

This is happening for 3 rooms, each with the exact same layout. I made a 4th room that is also the exact same, and the farmer in there is not complaining.

I just broke and replaced the floor for the entire room, and it still says the floor is incomplete.

I've been through over a week in game, but they still say the floor is incomplete

What type of floor are you using? You can't just use a plain material like rock, sand, etc. even if it's a crafted material. I don't know if straw floors qualify but probably not since that would be a pretty crummy home even for a farmer.

I'm not sure if you can use paths either, now that I think about it. Never tried, though.

If you're using regular wood floor, brick floor, stone tile, etc. then either you're somehow missing a spot or maybe it's a bug. Note that with the new graphics and the way some floor types kind of sprawl out from their tile, it can sometimes look like a space is covered even if it's not. Try clicking again everywhere with your floor tiles selected and maybe you'll find a spot that looked covered but wasn't.

If you're sure you're doing everything correctly, maybe a screenshot would help.

Hmm.... So far my Guard or any npc don't have any reason to complain right now. Even though my wall made out of stone and my floor is made out of stone(one that some what boost movement speed).

All I did was give them any thing that make it feel like home. Even though most of that stuff are stolen from dungeon or stolen from pirate house. Maybe I gone a bit over board. As long it work for me.

1)Bed
2)chair
3)Clock timer
4)Table
5)Book self
6)candelabrum
7)Desk
8)display dummy
8)Door(even though it mode of of wood)

(Kinda think of it. I kind a forget that they don't have bathroom at all. Oh well they didn't ask for it) :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

I was curious about Rock tiles taken from caves being used for floors, so I hopped on to try that out myself. As expected, the settler will complain that the floor is not complete if you use Rock tiles (Shovel -> Forest Cave floors) which is exactly as the poster above describes. Side note: they're perfectly happy to live surrounded by cave walls created by the Landscaping Station.

However, I replaced the Rock tiles with Stone Path (Workstation), this is a perfectly valid tile for the floor. Same as Stone Floor, Stone Brick Floor, and Stone Tiled Floor, all from the Workstation as well.

If you were already using these tiles, perhaps you missed a spot and didn't realize it. The whole floor must be covered, including under any furniture. Wool Carpet and Leather Carpet do not count as floor tiles, they are furniture. If you're using Carpets, please put floor tiles underneath.

Hmmmm...

I am using Straw Tile, so that's probably the issue. I'll replace the floor with something else tonight or tomorrow and see what happens. I appreciate everyone's input greatly

Straw? Poor farmer. ACHOO! *sniffle*. It'd be funny if the reaction wasn't "The floor isn't complete" but "I'm allergic to straw, I need a different floor."

I bet the issue is that you have 1 corner in the bottom right or left of your house that DOES NOT have a floor tile on it. You cannot see the tiles on those 2 locations and it's really easy to overlook them. Just spam floor tiles near the edges and corners of your build, also near the door.

I was confused why this was happening too until I realised the "sound" of you placing the tiles plays at 1 repeated interval while the actual tile placement speed is completely separate causing the sound of the tile being placed to play half a second before the tile actually is placed when rapidly trying to place them. making you "think" you placed a tile because of the audio cue and moving the cursor to the next tile area which is "where" the tile was actually placed.
in short, sound of placed tiles is slightly off from the actual tile placement speed often causing flooring to be incomplete in the bottom of houses since you can't see and can only hear the falseness of placement sounds.

Incase you never figured out the problem,

You need to place floor tiles under the walls aswell

No need to place floors under walls. Just the internal part of the structure :)
