No robbing NPC and single player games plus saves
I wish there was a option to not be able to rob NPC. You can steal their entire house even. NPC see and don't respond at all. It takes away the challenge of the game when so much stuff is so easily available aside from also making the games atmosphere a bit weird. Yes you can just choose to not rob them. Though that doesn't work for multiplayer. But then that takes us to our next topic in next paragraph.

A single player mode. Inventory and dialogue boxes pause game (what was that elder regarding game tips and suggestions? oh I'm being attacked by zombies again while trying to read your info or being attacked while looking at loot in a chest etc) And a save system where you can make saves where ever you want, reload saves as you wish and have different save states you can pick names for. Saving could even work for multiplayer as well.

This game isn't a rogue-like or light (not that I see the value in forced ironman mods with those games either) But we could have a ironman mode option that removes our ability to save for reasons. So people could get the original experience of no ability to choose when to save and reload from.

the stuff you can steal is all basic stuff and wont help you in later game so its a none issue personally

I do agree that there should be some sort of mechanic to prevent the standard RPG kleptomania.

if the npc were using the stuff, there would be some point...
I totally agree with the first point, it ruins for any need of most crafting when you just have access to loads of furniture, crafting benches, food, seeds, windmills chests ... cool storage boxes etc etc .... I too would like to see NPC homes flagged as non destructable.

There is also so much stuff in their chests, I would not allow stealing or at least without consequences.
wait what? do you all not play the game? they 100% attack you for theft in towns... not empty islands that have random houses though. But the villages will straight send an entire wave of townies at you that are extremely high lv killers lol

They do not... I tested again just now and you can take destroy anything you like in the NPC villages .... if they attack you then it must be a bug for those who dont get attacked, but Ive never been attacked and they are right next to me when I did it.

You can steal from towns as long as you don't attack townspeople or livestock. I agree that the devs should make them protect the town more.
