change settler's appearance

hi! unsure if this is a bug or not, but. title. (i did try to do a cursory search and couldn't find any discussion for this topic)

when i click on my stylist, and i select the option that says 'i want to change a settler's style', it brings up a seemingly randomly selected settler, with apparently no way to change who's being selected. the very top of the menu is cut off, so it might just be affecting my specific game, but even when i resize the game, i can't see the top of the menu.

whenever i click that option, the stylist seems to always show me a settler wearing the gunsmith's uniform (the apron with the purple and teal shirt). so! my question is. am i either misunderstanding how the option works, or do i need to do some weird ui scaling thing to see the top of the menu where there might be an option to let me change who's being selected?

it's not a big deal, but being able to slightly adjust some of my settlers would be cool :)

Oh, I totally experienced the part of the bug where it shows a messed-up version of a seemingly random settler (it's just whoever appears first on the list.) If I changed to another settler and back, they looked normal and I could modify them.

As for part of the menu being cut off, bear in mind there are a few types of scaling. There's screen zoom, there's UI scaling, and there's resolution. The default screen zoom seems to be 125%, which I changed to 100% right away. The default UI scaling is 100% but I changed it to 110% at 1080p. Your current UI scaling might be too zoomed in for your other settings, so check that in the options.

Yea, try to zoom out in interface settings like ElDudorino said. If you are already at 100%, try to disable dynamic interface size right under the zoom level :)

that was exactly the issue! thank you both so much :) i've turned off dynamic interface and now i can see the menu properly! i appreciate it, i totally forgot i even had that setting on.
