Thanks for the spacing tip, I'm good with that, though. I was just hoping there are prettier alternatives than plastering light sources everywhere. I'm currently trying to build a nice, orderly looking village and I was hoping to be able to put in a "park" area without too many paths and random light sources. Oh well.
Thank you for the good idea. I searched the steam mods for "light", "illumination" and "invisible" - and there are some options that I'll consider for another playthrough (not quite 100% what I wanted, but that's okay).
As for now, I have "fixed" the issue by using a single wall segment and fixing wall lanterns to all four sides. To my subjective eye, this looks less random than a streetlight popping up in the middle of nowhere. I would have preferred to use a pillar, but that doesn't work.
There is a mod showing which areas are/aren't covered by light so I (hopefully) could use that to figure out the radius question. So, thanks again for your tip!
