Gameplay Suggestion: Banners

I've noticed how incredibly active the developers are in this community, and wanted to put forward a suggestion regarding the banners, that I feel people will agree with overall.

Issue: Every single time we want to place any banner buff we have to place a stand and then open in and place a banner inside. This is tedious, when running back to back incursions at T5.

I wanted to suggest perhaps making it an item on its own entirely that we can place. Without the need for a banner stand. It would reduce the amount of keystrokes by 1/3, and make using them a bit smoother and cleaner experience. Even if it was a separate upgrade to still allow companions to carry banners.

This game is seriously amazing, and I've been achievement hunting the last 5 I need! I find myself wanted to play this more, every day. Thank you for creating such a great game, and I can actively see the love and dedication put into this project.

That's a really good point you've raised about the banner system in the game! Having to set up a stand every time you want to deploy a banner, especially during the high paced T5 incursions, does seem a bit cumbersome. Simplifying this to allow banners to be placed directly without a stand could indeed cut down on unnecessary steps and make the gameplay smoother.

Maybe it could be worth considering an item upgrade that enables direct banner placement, while still retaining the option for stands when you want that extra strategic depth like having companions carry them for additional effects. This dual approach would cater to both quick use during solo play and more planned, strategic deployment in team settings.
