I hate this puzzle so much. :P
I'm about to go to bed, but I definitely want to pull some more of my hair out when I wake up so I'll let you know. haha
I just stand on it and get in the proper lane. Then you just run and keep up with/ahead of the lights. That is not trying to memorize it but just follow along. Just sort of rush with it and pay attention how many away it is from the sides of the wall when you need to stop. Most of the time it seems to either touch the wall or have 2 pressure plates on one side you can't touch.
It matches up with your area, so running forward is more easy to match with how far the lights go rather than the sides (for me at least), as you just stop going forward when you are in the same row as the lights, then get a quick count of how many left or right you need to go and start running forward again.
Having the boots that let you sprint when you press shift helps, just don't go too fast and fly off the path! ;)
i do think this is the one yes, as it was the one i was also referring to!
i feel like i follow the path but the path disagrees sometimes even if it is the same one per dungeon haha, but able to navigate them now fine lol
As @Peaches said the puzzle likes to be difficult and not cooperate. I'm gonna jump on shortly and try again. I might go right even though it says left because going left or down triggers the trap. :P
Hah! Hard to tell. I know at first what was getting me was trying to memorize it (until I saw there was a lot more ahead) and that it didn't work out to well. But just running with it I've been able to do several without issue.
Still probably the hardest type I've seen, as the other two were basically just stand in a (mostly) obvious safe spot as you move, and running boots made it way easier. Plus if you got hit in them you could keep going without being locked out, so you could brute force bits =P
The first one didn't do that. It triggered once, let me run all the way back and didn't trigger anymore.
When I found this puzzle I did have a companion but I told him to go home.
