Once you have one, you also have to assign a husbandry zone, similar to a forestry zone. The animal keeper will then shear/milk animals in that zone :)
OK so I have an animal keeper, set up the zones, they shear sheep and slaughter when reaching the number I set, but I am not seeing any milk show up in the chests I have set up for villagers to use. Thoughts?
Maybe they are being consumed or used to make cheese instantly if you have that set up?
Or you can just bar them by restricting milk from their diets.
LOL I had not considered that they might just be drinking it
